I'm using an extrusion mount specifically designed for the 1602 control display module from 2020. This module is available on Aliexpress at https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1602-LCD-Display-3D-Printer-Reprap-Smart-Controller-Reprap-Ramps-1-4-2004-LCD-Control-display/32900226270.html. The mount works, but it's quite basic and has a tendency to sit stiffly in place.
