16 tooth gear for box joint jig with captive nut
thingiverse
This is a gear for Matthias Wandel box joint jig. In Matthias' design, the 16 tooth gear has a t-nut on the end to hold everything in place. His design calls for plywood gears which are easy to pound a t-nut into. I tried on my first plastic gear and it wouldn't seat straight. I remixed this in fusion 360 and added room for a 3/8 captive nut to replace the t-nut. Wandel's box joint plans are available at http://woodgears.ca/box_joint/plans/index.html
