16 Segment Display (Single LED Strip)
thingiverse
A sleek 16-segment display crafted from a single LED strip. The case fits standard, non-coated WS2812 strips perfectly - 10mm wide, 5V, and 60 LEDs per meter. Measuring 73.3mm in width, 94.4mm in height, and 24mm in depth, this display module is compact yet powerful. Out of the 26 LEDs used, four are unused. Feel free to remove them and adjust the sketch as needed by modifying the segment definitions. The Arduino sketch provides a straightforward example of using this display module. Letters A-Z and numbers 0-9 are already defined, and it utilizes the FastLED library. For optimal viewing, six vertical segments use two LEDs each, while the others use one LED. This setup shines brightest in medium to low ambient lighting conditions. Check out the test sketch in action at https://youtu.be/HwMYcjvowKY
