I appreciate this carefully designed concept for a compartmentalized pen holder that allows for orderliness and ease of access to my writing utensils. My preference is for pens to rest in an orderly fashion, so this design hits the mark. Each hole is 1.2 cm in diameter, a measurement corresponding to the width of my thickest pen. The depth of these holes has been calibrated to accommodate the average length of a mix of pens and mechanical pencils, along with their weight distribution. Aesthetics have also played a role in the chamfered edges. Overall, this design is focused on achieving minimalism and functionality as a desk accessory.
