15x110mm Bike fork mount (MAXLE) w/ .f3d (NEW V3!!)
thingiverse
It's designed specifically for use with a 15mm axle and 110mm space. It's compatible with RockShox SID Select+ 2020 Torque cap systems (**THIS IS CRUCIAL**). To secure the bike, simply insert the skewer. I've been using it consistently for months now, so rest assured - it's far more robust than its appearance suggests. **KEY POINT**: As you can see in the photos, my fork is "TORQUE CAP COMPATIBLE", which means that the contact zone between the hubs end cap and the fork can span as wide as 31mm. Standard hub axles are 21mm (without the torque cap conversion kit), but I'm unsure if this mount would be suitable for FOX forks or RS forks prior to the introduction of "TORQUE CAP" technology. **THE OUTER DIAMETER OF THE MOUNT IS 25MM**: If your fork can't handle anything above 21mm (the standard outer diameter of front wheel hubs), then this mount isn't compatible with your fork. I can modify the print to create a 21mm zone if you'd like. I've also included the Fusion360 file (.f3d). **EXACT INNER DIAMETER FOR THE AXLE IS 15.5MM**: I've experienced issues with tighter values, so I've settled on this measurement. **NEW V3**: This latest iteration is both tougher and easier to print. I printed mine using PETG for enhanced layer adhesion, and I haven't encountered any problems with overhangs - you shouldn't either. **NOTE**: This mount is intended for use at home, not for transporting the bike in a car. I wouldn't trust a 3D printed fork mount made of plastic to handle the rigors of transportation, so it's best to opt for a steel or aluminum fork mount.
