Medieval graffiti discovered in Calatrava la Vieja, Spain, date back to the late Christian period of the 15th century CE. Found in 1984 during an excavation led by architect Miguel Fisac, these ancient markings are situated within the Santa María La Blanca Church's crypt inside the Alcazar. Created using a sharp object on the south wall plaster, they depict five-pointed stars, geometric patterns and parallel lines, as well as a central figure of a man riding a horse. A smaller human figure in the foreground wears a tunic. This artwork is showcased in GDH Interior Graffiti Panel 3. According to Hervás Herrera's book "Calatrava la Vieja. Conservación y Restauración (1975-2010)", the preservation and restoration of these medieval graffiti were crucial, as seen in the Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha's digital repository RUIDERA, published in 2016.
