15mm Rail Mounted Anton Bauer Battery Bracket

15mm Rail Mounted Anton Bauer Battery Bracket

For cinema, ENG, documentaries, and more, I consistently use Anton Bauer batteries over proprietary ones. Previously, my battery-mounting method left much to be desired; thus, I designed a printable alternative. This design not only works well but could also be created as a single piece using an existing aluminum rail block for extra strength. Modeled in Blender 3D and sliced with ReplicatorG at 55mm/sec layer height of .27, the printed bracket requires no support. Cleanup involves removing support posts near the battery mount. To attach, obtain a Red Rock Micro microClamp, secure the printed bracket using a 1/4"-20 Panhead screw (3/4 long max), and remove the back of your Anton Bauer battery mount to repurpose its screws for attachment to the printed bracket. Some additional screws may be needed from Allied Electronics, depending on fit.
