The M1 was a 155mm caliber field gun developed and used by the United States military forces. Dubbed Long Tom, it had a storied history in U.S. field and naval artillery traditions. The M1 and M2 variants were later known as the M59 model. This powerful gun could fire a massive 100-pound shell up to 14 miles with incredible accuracy, estimated at 1,500 rounds per life cycle.
