1515 T-Slot (80/20's 1.5in) Linear Slider

I came across some 1.5" T-Slot hardware and decided to create a rail for a future laser cutter upgrade. The model is designed for 1.5" (38.1mm) so if you have 1" T-Slot scale it by 66.66% and for 20mm T-Slot scale by 52.49%, but keep in mind that you'll need to drill out the holes for the sliders using whatever hardware you're working with. My 1.5" version is tailored for 6-32 machine screws, while the cap screw for the rail was a standard 1/4-20. The slider pad was crafted from a dollar store HDPE cutting board, ripped into a 1.5" strip and then slowly stripped down on a table saw until it fit snugly as a slip fit. You can easily export the pad model for 3D printing with ease. I strongly recommend applying some thin foam tape along the sides of the sliders against the frame to provide a squishy spring that will make them easy to remove when needed.
