1515 / Railcore II extrusion covers / fillers

This 1515 filler for 3.5mm openings is designed to keep dust and print debris out of your extrusions while looking sleek. They are meant for any 1515 printer but I am currently testing them on my Alien3D Railcore II 300ZL. These fillers mount flush with the extrusion plane, actually sitting slightly below it. They can slide easily behind and under other components mounted to the rail. Plus, they leave enough space to fit over any extra M3 nuts in your extrusions. To install them, insert the filler at an angle and use a flat tool to snap it into place - I used the flat back of my Wiha driver for this purpose. You can cut these fillers to any length after printing without damaging them, so you only need to print one size. However, they can be tricky to get started as the exterior ridge is thin and may force its way through the extrusion. With practice, you should be able to snap them into place successfully, and if not, simply snip off any damaged ends.
