# Calibration Guide for Accurate XY Axis Adjustment When fine-tuning the XY axes, many users rely on a 20mm calibration die to adjust motor steps with precision. Nonetheless, even when working with objects as small as 20 mm, larger prints may still require adjustments to achieve correct length. In response, I designed data to calibrate with large objects, setting the X and Y dimensions to 150mm. This approach enables more accurate calibration results. To align your printer's XY direction with the model's displayed settings, ensure matching during the printing process. # Calibration Process 1. Print this model for precise calibration. 2. Measure the printed XY length accurately. 3. Open the "EEPROM Marlin Firmware" OctoPrint plug-in and navigate to the "Steps" tab. Verify the current number of XY steps. 4. Apply the print result to the following formula to calculate correct step count: (150 / current length) * Number of XY steps 5. In the "Steps" tab, enter the calculated correct number of steps and click the "Upload" button for confirmation. Example: With a current X length of 151mm and 81 steps/mm, calculation yields (81 * 150) / 151 = 80.46
