They recommend using a large object for calibrating your X and Y motors, ideally 100mm. Why not take advantage of a bigger printer with a 200mm print bed by using an even larger calibration object? This calibration "L" measures 150mm x 150mm x 3mm in the XYZ dimensions. Its design prioritizes speed while maintaining rigidity for precise measurements. To calibrate your STEPS, use this formula: X,Y-Axis: [desired length in mm] / [measured length in mm] * [current STEPS] For this object, "150" is the desired length. Get your current steps by issuing the M503 command to the printer. Create a new M92 command with the calculated X and Y values: M92 X[calculated] Y[calculated] Z[previous value] E[previous value]
