150mm Arca Swiss Styled Rail

I've taken precise measurements from multiple Arcaswiss rail copies and adapted them for seamless integration as 3D printed components. All corners feature a carefully designed fillet, which prevents part delamination that often occurs in 3D printed parts with sharp angles when subjected to stress. The two slots on this rail are specifically designed to accommodate a 1/4-20 quick release bolt with a maximum head diameter of 12mm and a thickness not exceeding 5mm. I've been using 3D XTech Carbon Fiber PETG, which has proven to be an excellent choice for functional parts. This adapter effortlessly holds a 200mm F3.5 lens and DSLR camera without any signs of flexure. I highly recommend PETG over PLA or ABS due to its resistance to moisture absorption. Unlike other plastics, PETG's structural properties remain unaffected by oil from human hands, extreme temperatures in vehicles, or low temperatures down to 17°F. This makes it an ideal choice, especially when paired with carbon fiber, which adds exceptional rigidity. However, the carbon fiber does require a gentle touch – simply sand it with an 800 grit sponge for about five minutes to remove any rough surface fibers.
