150 FPV Racer
thingiverse
This is a simple yet incredibly effective FPV racer frame that's perfect for beginners and pros alike. The bottom plate is made from 4mm thick material, making it extremely strong and durable. Plus, you can easily adjust the infill settings to achieve your desired balance of strength and weight. The top plate is slightly thinner at 2.5mm, but don't worry, with a 20% infill setting, this quad frame is virtually indestructible without being too heavy. I use 20mm spacers between the top and bottom plates for added stability. In the center of the frame are precisely sized mounting holes for a Naze32 or similar flight control board (such as an F303). There's plenty of space at the front for an FPV camera and TX (check out my recommended list below), and room in the back for standard-sized receivers. When it comes to motors, 1304/1306 sized motors are the perfect choice. This frame is specifically designed for use with 3-inch propellers. I printed mine with PLA, but ABS would also work well - just be sure to account for the shrinkage that often occurs when printing with ABS.
