15-Puzzle (Prototype)
thingiverse
As part of my daily Thing Challenge this summer. The long and laborious process of designing this mechanism left me physically drained, making it my first attempt at crafting moving components. Notably, several imperfections are evident - one is the image itself, where I failed to conceal the crucial piece allowing the entire structure to function properly. I'm currently too fatigued to rectify that issue. Furthermore, sizing was an ordeal, and although I believe the base pieces are nearly proportionate, they may not be perfectly so due to time constraints. Since I have yet to obtain a printer, this design remains untested, which only exacerbates the problem. For more intricate designs like mine, please visit my Shapeways Shop at https://www.shapeways.com/shops/MiniFidgets. I'm eager to share additional projects that push the boundaries of innovation. I must apologize for the appearance of these creations, as they may seem rough in this default view. Please navigate to Thingview for a more accurate understanding - the base is far more intricate than initially perceived. In hindsight, I should have considered the design's overall impact from various angles when crafting it.
