15 game with locking tiles and optional dual extrusion
thingiverse
I made a 3D printed version of the metal 15 puzzle for a student who wanted it. I had designed a small design to fit a FlashForge Finder. The outline around the tiles and numbers allows for easy alignment in slicing software. It took about an hour to print the tiles and 35 minutes to print the base. The base has a small notch in the upper right corner, making it easier to place the tiles inside. The tiles fit snugly together, even after being dropped several times without any of them coming loose or falling out. I recreated the entire file from scratch, inspired by vuglu's version, which I had printed as a test. This design is roughly half the size of that model.
