I'm excited to share with you my latest DIY project, a 15.4" FPV monitor that I created using a 3D printer! It's a fun and challenging project that requires some creativity and technical skills. First things first, you'll need an LCD monitor from an old laptop. You can find these on eBay or other online marketplaces for a relatively low price. Make sure to choose one with a good resolution and a compact design. Next up is the board that connects everything together. I used a Kit-for-B154EW02-V-1-TV-HDMI-VGA-USB-LCD-LED-screen-Controller-Driver-Board, which you can also find on eBay. This board allows me to connect my FPV camera to the monitor and control it with ease. Now let's talk about power supply! You'll need a reliable source of electricity to power your monitor and other components. I used an AC-110V-240V-To-DC-12V-2A-LED-Power-Supply-Adapter-EU-US-Plug, which you can also find on eBay. This adapter converts the AC voltage from my wall outlet to a stable DC voltage that my monitor can use. With all these components in place, I was able to create a fully functional FPV monitor that's perfect for racing and flying my drones. The 15.4" screen provides a clear and crisp image, while the board and power supply work together seamlessly to keep everything running smoothly. Overall, this project was a lot of fun and required some creative problem-solving skills. If you're interested in building your own FPV monitor, I highly recommend giving it a try!
