148 Hex Bit Holder

148 Hex Bit Holder

I had accumulated around 4 of the Dewalt boxes in my toolbox, containing a variety of 1/4" hex bits, nutdrivers, and drill bits. I wanted to simplify my setup by consolidating them into one compact unit. This compact case holds a total of 148 bits, with 12 being longer or heavier ones stored safely inside. On the underside, there are pockets designed to hold 4 powerful magnets with M3 heat-set inserts and countersunk screws securely in place. I printed mine using a 0.4mm nozzle, 15% gyroidal infill, and a 0.2mm layer height. The entire process took around 30 hours and required approximately 200g of filament to complete. At 15%, the resulting product is incredibly sturdy, resistant to breakage. The magnets used can be found on Amazon at this link: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07VCK8BTG/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
