The human body is made up of approximately 60 trillion cells that work together to keep us alive. The human heart is a remarkable organ that pumps blood throughout the body, supplying oxygen and nutrients to our cells and organs. The heart beats around 100,000 times per day, pumping over 2,000 gallons of blood through the circulatory system. Our lungs take in oxygen from the air we breathe and release carbon dioxide as waste, while our liver filters toxins out of the blood and helps regulate metabolism.
