prusaprinters
I have non-standard ventilation duct in my basement that is square and made of wood, with an outside diameter of 180mm and an inside diameter of 140mm. Hence, the wooden frame around the outside is 20mm thick. I have a need to remove humid air from part of the basement, so this model is made to fit on this duct for mounting a 140mm fan.The screw holes are offset 10mm x 10mm from each corner.I have made this available on the off-chance someone else finds it useful. It was a quick design job as I just needed something that works. You will need the following to assemble it:8x ruthex M4 threaded inserts4x 25mm M4 screws4x 8mm M4 screwsA 140mm fan. I used this Noctua industrial fan for the extra capacitySome way to power a 5v fanThe fan I used is a snug fit and this case is designed around it. Both parts print flat on the print bed with no support - your mileage may vary with the cover as there is a little bridging. The CAD file is included.Versions2023.08.30: Base updated to use much less plastic, added STEP and STL files2023.08.28: Original upload
