I've augmented my Printrbot Simple 1405 Expanded X model by completely redesigning it to enable printing a sturdy frame without resorting to laser-cut plywood. As a work in progress, this enhanced design has not yet been printed personally by me; however, the necessary files for constructing the base frame are available here.
