I needed some bases to install my PrintrBro on several pieces of fiber board. My prints stuck really well but I encountered a bit of warping, so this might not be ideal as stands alone base options. When these are installed in the MDF board though, they are pretty solidly fixed. This means I'll now have everything I need to tackle my 600mm X-axis expansion (though possibly only doing a 200-300mm run). Ingredients: Two pieces of 1/2 inch thick MDF cut to 1 by 1 feet Six #8 Washers Six 3/4 inches wood screws Gorilla Glue (if you decide to bond the rear foot connecting link) Tools: A hex wrench for the Printrbot's M3 screws Some liquid nails and a caulk gun Steps: Print everything first. Everything should fit onto the Printrbot's stock 100 x 100 x 100 bed. I printed mine using PLA with Slic3r settings. One additional note, there isn't a separate STL file for the right front foot, simply import the left front and mirror its image using Repetier to achieve correct symmetry. 1) Print one piece at a time as adding feet individually is recommended due to existing Printrbot screws already having ample space between the existing M3 nut. Add the foot by replacing each of the existing Printrbots's M3 screws for each foot you wish to add then insert a new foot followed immediately by reinserting that same screw and tighten it in place. This setup provides additional stability for mounting the printer. 1A) If you are going for this connection option, apply glue but make certain they're flush on both rear corners to get perfect bond fitment 2) If needed cut MDF boards. Ensure secure square bonding with liquid nails then press together until a tight, solid grip forms and stays in place throughout the adhesion time - recommended 60 minutes (though impatient folks may do it sooner) 3) Place your PrintrBro onto the now solid foundation, using the mentioned wooden screws secured by washer supports to tie everything firmly in position for an extremely steady running experience. You might feel extra safe with some doubled-up securing measures especially towards the front but that entirely up to personal preferences
