The modified Bearing post sports a detachable hat that redirects the belt along the Y axis, pushing it safely away from the spinning belt that wraps around the bearing. Originally, I experienced problems with belt oscillations snagging on the bearing. With this clever attachment in place, however, all those issues disappeared, and the system even experienced some reduction in vibration as well as improved belt tension, particularly under high rotation conditions.
