This is a redraw of the arms of Arron Mollet's Mechanical Quick Grab/Release Phone Stand.

It should work with most remixes of that phone stand, including my own.

This arm is designed to accommodate phones 140mm to 165mm wide and up to 11mm thick. This is the specific range I needed for my STEM activity participants.

Additional parts needed

I used the rack with larger hook from this remix by Stephen Brooks: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3719672

Printing

Load the smaller-arms.3mf into your PrusaSlic3r.

Alternatively load the STL twice into your slicer, and mirror one across either horizontal axis. I didn't include a left and a right version since they are mirror images.

Remixing

I had to redraw the arm because the original thing only included STLs. I have included the FreeCAD file, so you can have an easier time remixing.

I suggest you delete the fillets, change the sketch to resize the arm hook, and then finish the part as you like it, chamfer, fillet, whatever suits your fancy.

Known issues

Depending on your phone, the charger socket may be covered by the hook. The closer your phone width is to 140mm, the more likely this is.
