This portable task light features a 2' LED lamp and a 2' polycarbonate lens that offer longer lamp life, cooler operation, higher durability, and exceptional light quality compared to incandescent drop lights. It is constructed to be weather and impact resistant, with shock resistance making it durable enough to withstand rough handling. The light operates at cooler temperatures than conventional incandescent and fluorescent lights, reducing the risk of fire and burns. The built-in reflector provides a wide, glare-free, shadow-less field of bright white light. The FTL-3-LED-100 is equipped with an LEDT8-24-V1 14 watt T8 style LED bulb from Larson Electronics, which produces 1,750 lumens and requires no ballast to operate. The lightly frosted lens diffuses the light, making it ideal for food-safe environments as there is no glass. The nylon housing provides rigidity and strength for this LED bulb.
