A 16-segment display accurately recreates real-life nine segment display packages, complete with individual LED cubes, housing boxes and electrical contacts. This product includes base colors along with their EPS (Adobe Illustrator) image counterparts for ease of manipulation. It can be imported into popular modeling tools such as Modo, Cinema 4D or SketchUp, or used directly in popular game engines that support the OBJ file format. The package may be edited in programs such as Blender and exported as an OBJ file to other programs or game engines as required by the user. The parts are well named to allow programmatic interaction from third party components that can switch on and off emissive LEDs or driven by other programmatic means. It is not necessary however to use any programming to use this product. Features Segments modeled as individual faces for both lit and unlit states. Display elements including package housing may be removed or edited in any compatible 3D creation software. Optimized model maintains a balance of visual quality while performing well within game engines. Includes textured unwrapped models for pins, LED cubes, case and display face for use in game engines. Cubes have their own assigned textures for various lighting effects. Efficiently named parts allow ease of reference, segment removal or reworking as needed. EPS Files are included with labeled layers and text descriptions for layer labels. Transparent colored emissive and non-emissive LED cubes. Can be customized with texture paint if required. All LED parts are organized and grouped into a straightforward hierarchy. Built accurately to scale. Cubes are geometrically modeled after the most common segment shapes since the 1990s. Minimal polygon count maintains a balance between performance and quality once imported into popular game engines (such as Unreal Engine or CryEngine). Model provided as an AutoCAD Inc. DWG file, and Wavefront OBJ file formats. Textures are relative to the DWG and OBJ files to eliminate resource searching when importing into creation and game software.
