14.4 V Li-ion battery pack

Building your own 14.4 V battery pack is a breeze with this handy device. It's designed for four Li-ion batteries of the 18650 type, packing about 3000 mAh capacitance in a mere 260 g mass. This makes it an ideal replacement for heavier Pb-acid 12 V batteries in many applications. The built-in battery management system (BMS) eliminates the need for complex charging mechanisms. To get started, you'll need a few additional components: * A 4S BMS * Two pairs of battery clips * Four Li-ion batteries of the 18650 type * Four self-tapping screws measuring 2.9 x 9.5 mm * Wire with cross-sectional areas of 1.5 and 2.5 mm^2 The total material cost should be under 30 euros, and assembly time is approximately one and a half hours.
