A slit has been removed from the top, replaced instead by a hole that allows for easy installation of a 1/8th inch diameter bolt, which in turn keeps the laser firmly in place as it's pushed down into position. Fillets have been added so you can simply push the laser button and slide it smoothly into its new home, eliminating the need for a rubber band to hold it there. To add an extra touch of stability, take any magnet that catches your eye - whether it's a strong permanent magnet or even one salvaged from a broken hard drive - and place it in the base. Secure everything with some glue and cap it off, then sit back and enjoy the fruits of your labor. This mksa remix is perfect for 13mm diameter lasers, thanks to its clever design that eliminates the need for any small elevation slots.
