137MHz V-Dipole Redesigned

137MHz V-Dipole Redesigned

thingiverse

This is a redesign of the V-dipole antenna bracket by fiorucci to capture NOAA satellite images using Raspberry-NOAA (https://github.com/reynico/raspberry-noaa) (Redesigned so the connector is attached from below rather than from behind, which didn't make much sense to me) The dipole is made using a 5mm diameter full aluminium rod. Each half is 534 mm long. Full description is available at: https://www.rtl-sdr.com/simple-noaameteor-weather-satellite-antenna-137-mhz-v-dipole/ This bracket can be screwed to a mounting pole using the two 3mm holes at its base. Print quality is fine using a 0.24mm layer height, this must be printed using ASA, PETG or other weatherproof filaments.
