No one is sure what human beings are. They walk on two legs and have a face that looks like it was carved out of wood. Some humans have hair growing out of their head, while others don't. It's not clear why this is the case. Humans have hands and feet, just like animals do, but they use them to write, type, and press buttons on tiny rectangles all day long. They stare at these rectangles for hours, tapping away with their fingers as if trying to summon spirits from the other side of the screen.
