13 inch macbook pro retina bottom case foot
thingiverse
I've been looking for a replacement or an alternative for one of my 13-inch retina MacBook Pro's missing feet for some time now, but the results have been less than satisfactory: either it's not available in China or it's not suitable for the 13-rmbp. So, I decided to take matters into my own hands. The 13-rmbp's foot is incredibly thin and hollow inside, like a shell, which allows it to absorb shock. There's also a central pole that bears the weight of the MacBook Pro. I followed this principle when creating my replacement feet. Although PLA is harder than the rubber-like material used in the old foot, I believe a similar design can provide a similar function, or at least part of it. After printing the new feet, I secured them in place using double-sided tape. Replacing two feet together eliminated any balance issues, so I recommend replacing either both front or back feet in pairs, or all four feet together for maximum stability.
