12v Speed Controller Box

I'm not thrilled with the prices those well-known manufacturers charge for their speed controllers, and it seems you can get most component parts relatively easily these days, so I decided to build my own. Here's what I came up with. (I updated the design to hold onto the plugs a bit more securely to make gluing them in easier. The files have been updated accordingly.) The switch is a 2-way on/on version, allowing me to wire it to switch between forward and reverse. Power in and out are through the side holes, and the reverse switch is located on the lid. The front hole is for the potentiometer (easily found on eBay). The connectors have been sitting in my workshop for ages, but I think I got them from Banggood. The On/On switch is a Miniature 6A 125V AC 6-Pin DPDT ON-ON Mini Flick Toggle Switch, also found on eBay. Instructions on how to wire it can be found here: https://www.instructables.com/id/Simple-Bi-directional-Switch/ Sorry, I'm having trouble getting Thingiverse to display the STLs. I've added another design to this one. It includes a "buck converter" that can be adjusted to control the output voltage by turning a screw. This allows different types of motor bogies with varying voltage needs to be accommodated using the same controller. It can be sourced as: LM2596 DC to DC Buck Converter 3.0-40V to 1.5-35V Power Supply Step Down Module, from Amazon. Another screenshot is included to show the layout inside.
