I Created the design as needed to prevent accidental short circuits in terminals. The design should work with many batteries featuring similar terminal styles. Print it vertically, with the end cap facing down, using support for the most efficient and timely construction process (view images). Next, secure the print with a hot glue gun and apply additional glue around the edges to ensure a tight hold (see images). How I Designed This Project I Utilized 123D Design, a free online (accessible through a browser) or downloadable basic 3D modeling program.
