This setup works with certain 12V DC regulated power supplies and an Intel Male Power Socket with Fuse Switch (10A, 250V) featuring a 3-pin IEC320 C14 inlet. For the power supply, consider this option on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007KG0ZYI/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i00. As for the switch, try this one: http://www.amazon.com/Inlet-Power-Socket-Switch-IEC320/dp/B00511QVVK/ref=sr_1_cc_1?s=aps&ie=UTF8&qid=1349228924&sr=1-1-catcorr&keywords=Inlet+Male+Power+Socket+with+Fuse+Switch+10A+250V+3+Pin+IEC320+C14. The screw hole size has been modified to accommodate an M3 screw. For wiring the switch (120V), use 4 stranded, flexible wires: green (ground, 5" with female and ring connectors), blue/white (neutral, 5" with female and ring connectors), and brown/black (line; two 2" wires with females on both ends and one 5" wire with a female and ring connector). To connect the switch to the power supply, ground goes to the green wire, neutral to the blue/white wire, and line to the brown/black 5-inch wire. Ensure you install a 10A fuse in the switch. Be cautious when working with the crimp connectors and wires; remember that AC is involved! No bare wires should be exposed. Before considering the project complete, verify all measurements upon printing.
