12V power supply Cover with lighted switch and fuse
thingiverse
I remixed a popular power cover but made some adjustments. The original had a solid wall with a hole for wiring, so I left room under the cage to avoid that. To save plastic and showcase the inner light, I modified the walls as well. Wiring the switch is straightforward, and it illuminates when plugged in. Be careful with the wiring from my previous model, which was incorrectly done. Additionally, getting a small 12 amp fuse proved challenging; Home Depot only had 6 amp ones. As for the power supply, I used this Amazon link: amazon.com/gp/product/B007KG0ZYI/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i00. For the switch, check out this Amazon link: amazon.com/Inlet-Power-Socket-Switch-IEC320/dp/B00511QVVK/ref=sr_1_cc_1?s=aps&ie=UTF8&qid=1349228924&sr=1-1-catcorr&keywords=Inlet+Male+Power+Socket+with+Fuse+Switch+10A+250V+3+Pin+IEC320+C14.
