To charge my 2003 Suzuki Bandit 1200S navigation system's batteries, I sought an alternative to the conventional handlebar-mounted charging sockets. Opting for a car charger socket, I was faced with the challenge of finding a suitable mounting location. The included handlebar mount was undesirable due to clutter, so I decided to attach it to the cockpit's plastic cover without creating holes. However, I devised an ingenious solution by designing a mount for the center connection between the frame and the plastic cover in the cockpit. This positioning offers several benefits: it remains fixed regardless of handlebar movement, preventing cable wear and extending the cable's lifespan. The socket I selected for this purpose is available here: http://www.louis.de/index.php?topic=artnr_gr&artnr_gr=10032936.
