A friend recently converted the 12v lights in his mobile weekend home from traditional incandescent to energy-efficient LED. The outcome was remarkable. Four high-powered LEDs now replace each older incandescent bulb, and by diffusing the LEDs (a simple process of light sanding on their surfaces), a brilliant, intense light is produced while consuming only a tiny fraction of the battery's power that the previous bulbs used.
