12V Dummy Load / Volts & Amps Meter / 12V Power Socket
thingiverse
I used a separate meter and 12-cigar lighter socket as a battery/solar panel tester and dummy load, but I wanted to combine them into one device. To create this new tool, I arranged 44 snapping nubs in two rows around the perimeter. To make it more secure, I reinforced the connecting shell and lid corners, and reduced the depth of the snapping nubs after the first one cracked when being snapped in place. After making these adjustments, the new lid snapped into place with a firm knock, and it's now impossible for it to come off without breaking the case.
