This adapter will allow you to take your old 12V DeWalt drill running off of Ni-Cd/Ni-MH batteries and convert it to operate off of lower costing, more efficient 20V DeWalt DCB series Lithium Ion batteries. A voltage regulator must be wired in to save the brushes in the 12V motor from their demise (Found here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08DHNFLP3/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) Replaces DeWalt DW9071 Battery and uses DeWalt DCB203/205/etc. The locking tabs/clips, screws, and connector are all recycled from the original battery and used for this design. Basic soldering capabilities recommended. A basic assembly procedure document is included in the zip. The readme doc explains each STL.
