12V celing fan repair kit
thingiverse
I had three ceiling fans in my cozy cottage, but both suffered from the same design flaw - a faulty propeller holder that caused them to separate after just one season of use. To create a more reliable solution, I used Fusion360 to design and optimize the angle of the blades, ensuring they would stay securely in place. The model was designed with M3 screws in mind, and the threads were carefully modeled so that no precutting was necessary. The only modification required was cutting the excess material from the propeller blades and aligning the four-hole block with each blade before drilling holes for the screws. From there, I secured all the blades to the blocks and then attached them to the propeller holder using M3 screws and a drop of methyl ethyl ketone - a more effective adhesive than acetone. The fans were printed from high-quality ABS material at an optimal layer height of 0.1mm.
