This is a holder for 12V batteries used in First Tech Challenge robotics competitions, such as ModernRobotics/goBilda battery: https://www.gobilda.com/matrix-12v-3000mah-nimh-battery/. All holes are on 8mm grid, making it easy to attach to goBilda or REV robotics structural parts; holes are made for M4 screws, but can also be used with smaller screws such as #6 or M3. There is a channel for battery strap (available from many vendors).
