12V 7AH Power Box for SLA, AGM, or LiFePO4 batteries
thingiverse
I wanted to use a standard 12V battery (typically 7AH when AGM/SLA, although mine is a LiFePO4 lithium) as a portable 12V power source with phone charging capability. The 6AH Lithium cell gives me 72Wh at 10A if needed, far more power and energy than many similarly-sized power packs. This is simply a sleeve which slides over the cell and gives you ports for 12V accessories. I have secured mine to the battery with electrical tape. There are also bosses to make a simple handle using some thin rope. Quick and dirty, but very functional. I have an adapter which charges the battery through the 12V port since there are no diodes, only fuses.
