12mm Tube Frame Connector Kit
thingiverse
This kit lets you build frames or open frame chassis cases for whatever you want out of 12mm stainless or aluminum tubes or rods. My main goal with this project was to create a mini-ITX open frame case for a home server/NAS, but you can easily adapt the parts to build anything else. Each piece has mounting holes so that you can cut and attach covers on the side of the frame once it's complete. The hole dimensions were designed to fit PC components like mini-ITX motherboards or ATX power supplies. Because these connectors are structural, I strongly recommend using PETG. PLA might work too. Also, set your infill to 100% and layer height to 0.1mm to get a more dense build. To build a frame, all you need to do is cut the tubes to the length you need. The depth of each connector is 15mm. You can then use M2.5x6 mm self-tapping screws to permanently hold everything together.
