A 12mm support block, featuring two tiedown openings on its shaft clamp, is designed with 2.5mm diameter M3 bolt and nut-compatible holes on both sides that are countersunk. With a width of 15mm, it perfectly fits OpenBeam extrusion. This part is versatile as it can mount to any surface using M3 bolts, all of which have countersunk surface mounts. Measuring 50mm in length and 45mm in height, this block supports 12mm smooth rods. Kindly share your thoughts on its rigidity, as I've designed it for a 3D printer using Open Beam; more parts are to be uploaded soon.
