Another simple magnet lanyard that utilizes 12mm neodymium disc magnets, widely available at hardware stores like Lowe's and Home Depot. These magnets deliver impressive holding power, which is why I use them to securely attach needle nose pliers to my fishing vest for instant retrieval. The 8mm version would be more suitable for lighter duties, but the 12mm model is ideal when you need extra gripping force. To assemble this project, you will need to sand the magnet using 80-100 grit sandpaper and apply a strong adhesive to attach it to the print. I have used cyanoacrylate (super glue) successfully, and epoxy also works well. Considering outdoor use, I recommend printing with ABS, PETG, or nylon for durability.
