I managed to procure a 12-inch (300mm) mirror boasting a focal length of approximately f6, significantly compacting the overall telescope size, thereby rendering it noticeably easier to manipulate and employ as compared to the prior 10-inch f9.8 design.This adaptability comes from modular design features which can accommodate differing sizes and lengths of mirrors.Among other attributes, the Three rings composing the primary telescopic framework are fabricated from carbonfibre featuring a honeycomb core measuring only 3mm in thickness, alongside an arsenal of 5000 and 6000 series aluminium alloy components.Metal side panels utilising welded U-channel frames skin-covered with 1.5mm aluminium sheet and bonded using a high-grade resin demonstrate the construction expertise, riveted for enhanced durability to provide structural rigidity.
