12ga wad making mini press
thingiverse
UPDATE May, 17: Enhanced Extraction Piston. This straightforward concept enables the creation of wads from paper pulp. For reloaders of 12ga slugs, this method can be particularly useful: 1. If you have access to a paper shredder, you can create small strips of paper that work well. Simply pour these into a jar and cover them with boiling water. 2. Allow the mixture to sit for a while until the paper particles begin to disintegrate slightly. You can also use a blender to speed up this process. The goal is to achieve a pulp density that's not too liquid, but rather dense. 3. Insert the extraction piston into the cylinder. 4. Filter the paper pulp lightly and fill the press cylinder using a spoon. 5. Apply gentle pressure with the squeezing piston to push the pulp into the cylinder. 6. Release the cylinder by removing the squeezing piston. 7. Extract the wad by pushing it out with the extraction piston. 8. Carefully remove the wad, which is still damp, and allow it to dry completely.
