These are two versions of a 1.75" short shell adapter for a Mossberg 500 type shotgun. Both versions are available to let people experiment with. Version 2 has a vertical cut on the front face, hoping to reduce the impact when ejecting the magazine. I noticed that in version 1 without this cut, the first few shells exiting the magazine would bounce and flip due to maximum force from fully compressed springs. With version 2, I cycled a full magazine of 8 shells without any issues. These adapters have not been tested at the range for actual firing. It's unknown how PLA will perform with recoil and shock from real shooting. If you try this, please post your results. *A word of caution: This adapter was made for experimental purposes only. Even if it increases your gun's capacity and works as tried, I wouldn't recommend relying on it in an emergency self-defense situation. The last thing you want is a short-shell flipping in the chamber during such situations.
