125mm mechanical ventilation duct adapter for building a fume extractor for 3D printers

This part helps building an extractor hood that efficiently handles 3D printer fumes. It enables attaching an exhaust duct used for home mechanical ventilation and a computer fan, perfect for a well-ventilated workspace. This design fits seamlessly with a standard 120mm PC computer fan and a 125mm diameter exhaust duct, providing optimal airflow. The fan and adapter can be placed on both sides of a makeshift cardboard hood and secured with nuts and bolts for added stability. Print Settings Rafts: Disabled Supports: Not Required Notes: This part was successfully printed in PLA using a custom printer. To ensure a secure fit, I designed large teeth that can firmly grip the duct to the adapter without compromising its integrity. However, these teeth may be slightly too rigid. The four holes on this part match the size of the holes found on my fan, but they were not specifically designed for a particular screw size. Screw nuts are likely necessary for secure attachment.
