I'm planning to create rapid prototypes of custom dies for sheet metal fabrication in the future. So far, I've successfully tested this setup by bending strips of stainless steel that were .020", .040" and .062" thick to a precise 90-degree angle. My design was inspired by European brake die setups, which feature swappable tips for maximum versatility. The STL files are currently optimized so you can force-fit a .125" radius pin into them, reducing wear on the plastic components. For my own setup, I used McMaster part number 97395A491 to achieve the desired results.
